Record participation of IPFN researchers at SOFT2016

IPFN had a record participation in the 29th Symposium on Fusion Technology - SOFT2016 - held in Prague on 5-9 September. 4 oral and 15 poster contributions were presented by members of the group of Engineering and Systems Integration and collaborators from other research units from IST (Institute for Systems and Robotics and LAETA/IDMEC).

The biennial Symposium on Fusion Technology is the leading conference in Nuclear Fusion Technology in Europe. It regularly attracts more than 800 scientists, engineers, industry representatives and exhibitors from all over the world and focuses on the latest developments on running and planned fusion experiments.

The successful participation reflects the international recognition of IPFN researchers' work in the areas of diagnostics development, neutronics, robotics, control and data acquisition and mechanical design.
