Jorge Vieira awarded with an Honorable Mention in the ULisboa Science Prizes 2016
Dr. Jorge Vieira is an assistant researcher at the Group of Lasers and Plasmas with Instituto de Plasmas e Fusão Nuclear. His research interests focus on the interaction between intense beams and plasmas with applications to compact plasma accelerators, light sources and astrophysics.
The University of Lisbon Science Prizes are open to professors, researchers and post-doctoral scholarship holders that have been with the University of Lisbon for at least two years.
The prizes will be awarded during the celebration of the third anniversary of the ULisboa, on the 25th of July at 17pm in Edifício Caleidoscópio, Jardim do Campo Grande.
