One more week of activities in IPFN with Ciência Viva

IPFN received five pre-university students from 5-8 July. As in previous years, a wide range of contents within physics and technology was explored, creating a diverse and interesting program.

The different activities consisted in talks, laboratory visits, experiments and workshops in the different research areas within nuclear fusion. The students had the opportunity to learn about plasma and nuclear fusion, watching several discharges and data analyses on ISTTOK Tokamak, modelling and printing in 3D, handling a robot remotely, and so on.

"Without a doubt that this was a fantastic week where we could fuse the knowledge about plasmas and nuclear fusion with some fun!" - António Mendes de Almeida
