Bruno Gonçalves is reelected as IPFN president

Last December, the elections for the IPFN presidency took place. With 92% of the votes, Bruno Gonçalves is reelected as the current IPFN president. In regards of the current challenges and hopes for the future, Bruno states that "It’s a pleasure to remain at the forefront of this excellence research unit, and I am grateful for the trust that my colleagues and Técnico's board have placed in my leadership. Several challenges await us in the next biennium and for which it is essential a strong effort and commitment of all IPFN members. Among these, I emphasize the ambition to maintain the classification of "exceptional" in the evaluation process that the FCT will start in 2017, the commitment to maintain the strong international projection by reinforcing the presence in major international emblematic projects, the need to create the conditions for career management of IPFN researchers and the commitment to provide the IPFN with adequate infrastructure through the construction of the new building in the CTN."

Thank you for the hard work and congratulations Bruno!
